Our Fixtures, for testing to ASTM D1599, offer the following features:
- Very large safety enclosure with motor driven test beams riding on self-locking ACME screws
- Bronze drive nuts
- High strength bearings
- End cap supports
- Require a large capacity floor drain and temperature controlled fast fill water supply nearby
- May require a portable jib crane or other type of lifting device to load and unload heavy pipe specimens and end caps
- Require interfacing with a large floor drain for fast dumping of water after a test in which the pipe bursts
